According to the US magazine Irish boyband Westlife have been recognised as one of the best boybands.The band have been together over 12 years, have only ever scored one hit in the US with 'Swear It Again'.
Entertainment weekly wrote: "Long before American Idol, Simon Cowell signed this Irish pop group. In the decade since, they've sold 40 million records and gained considerable international recognition"
This is the American idol winner Ruben Studdard of season two were identified, had a huge hit with Westlife's song 'Flying Without Wings'.
